1. Hoang Thuy Lan, co-founder, COO
As the COO of CEFACOM during 2005-2015, Lan was responsible for overall management and leadership of the organization, focusing on strategic planning and HRM. She led communications with strategic partners to ensure coordination and funding; provided quality assurance to project activities. At the same time Ms. Lan acted as a individual consultant for ODA projects, funded by the World Bank, ADB, USAID, DANIDA, AUSAID, among others. During 2003-2004, she was the International Services Coordinator for the German Development Agency in Hanoi. During 1993-2001, Ms. Lan worked at the United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Vietnam office, as Project Officer, in charge of communication and community participation.
2. Huynh Thu Nha Trang, co-founder, Program Coordinator, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Program and Training Development Program
Trang undertakes all project management aspects such as planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation and assists the COO in the design and implementation of the project’s activities for children and adolescents, especially at the field level. She was also the CEFACOM team leader, to develop materials on child abuse, with funding by UNICEF. The training kit includes Reference Manual and six training manuals for different target groups including 1) Children, 2) parents/communities, 3) Teachers, 4) Social Workers, 5) Health Workers and 6) Investigators. Participatory methods are intensively explored. Trang graduated with a Master of Science in Gender and Development Studies from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand.
